Cellulite Treatment
What causes Cellulite?
Cellulite can be described as skin dimpling, cottage cheese or orange peel
skin. Cellulite is often associated with painful nodules in the dermal
connective tissue. Cellulite, known medically as Liposclerosis, affects 80
- 95% of post pubescent women. Predisposing factors effecting cellulite
are heredity and hormonal levels, circulatory health, nutritional and exercising
habits. Cellular edema is a result of microcirculation constriction in the
capillary and lymphatic system, causing fluid accumulation and the loss of
membrane permeability necessary for normal fluid movement in and out of the
cells. As the fat cells swells, the dermis and the epidermis, above the
hypodermis push outwards, creating the dimpled appearance characteristic of
cellulite.
How does treatment work?
DermaTherapie reduces the appearance of cellulite by combining three
treatments elements to successfully reduce the appearance of cellulite over a
series of treatments.
First, we apply an essential oil and seaweed extract cream that creates a thermogenic
affect at the cellular level to increase metabolic activity and stimulate
intercellular fluid release. Next, we gentle apply suction to open up lymphatic
drainage nodules to receive the release of excess fluid from the fat
cells. Larger cellulite nodules can be stretched and released, alleviating
pain. The DermaTherapie "Easy-Glide" hand piece moves smoothly
across the skin using gentle suction to pull the skin into a fold that stretches
and revascularizes the connective tissue. This treatment regimen releases
excess intercellular fluid into the restored drainage system.
What
are the benefits of treatment?
DermaTherapie stretches connective tissue and improves the vascular and
lymphatic system helping to:
Reduce the appearance of cellulite Eliminate toxins Reshape the body
Revascularizing connective tissue Drain and stimulate aching muscles to
accelerate recuperation after exercise
What results will I see?
Treatment smoothes dimpling or "orange peel" skin. It firms,
tightens and tones skin while reshaping the body contour.
How many treatments are required and how long do results last?
Each session lasts 30-40 minutes and can be performed twice a week. 10
to 14 treatments are recommended. Skin texture and color will show
improvement after the first treatment. By treatment 6 or 7, the cellulite
and body shaping results start to become apparent.
